“I have built a fulfilling career from listening and understanding people. Up-and-coming entrepreneurs. Big business. Small business. Start-ups. Scale-ups. I enjoy the process of helping others consider their path ahead by asking questions and challenging what they know and helping them with aspects of “unknowing” what they thought was the only way to approach a new idea or opportunity.
I would love to learn about your venture goals and ideas, and help you realize them. Connect with me.”
Norm McConkey
Norm McConkey has over 25 years of senior management experience in the technology industry. He was responsible for managing channel sales and marketing for Corel Corporation across both North America and Europe. Norm’s expert insight and advice helped key organizations in the industry succeed, including partners such as Ingram Micro, Tech Data, Dell, and HP. In 2003, this knowledge was transferred over to his industry leading business, PrintFleet. The business was a remote monitoring software that focused on the collection, analysis, and actioning of printer data. PrintFleet grew to become the largest software in the industry, with over 4 million devices under management.
After successfully exiting PrintFleet, Norm went on to found a consulting company, Tangent MTW Incorporated. The consultancy helped OEM and channel partners such as Xerox, Office Depot, Staples, and Ingram Micro build managed print services (MPS) programs for their customers. During these seven years of consultancy, Norm saw an opportunity to further help print and imaging providers become digitally adept and teach them how to adopt e-commerce.
In 2016, Norm then founded his present consultancy and technology software company, MPSToolbox (now B2BToolbox which caters to technology resellers). With many technology resellers starting to broaden their appeal to their thousands of business customers, B2BToolbox serves as an essential solution that further supports them. To date, the company has managed to help over one hundred providers adopt e-commerce.
Norm has continued to nurture success for his many clients across the technology industry. He is now focused on supporting managed service and technology providers with their future e-commerce goals.
Norm is a regular contributor to industry publications, and he also writes a blog about current topics in the industry. Outside of his entrepreneurial pursuits, Norm is the proud father of three young men, a most fortunate husband, an avid outdoorsman, a road cyclist and a somewhat unaccomplished triathlete.
